El anime se centrará en el deporte de motor Fórmula 4 (F4). El fotógrafo freelance Kouya Madoka se encuentra de bajón por un motivo concreto. Acude al Fuji International Speedway para trabajar en un reportaje y conoce a Haruka Asahina, una piloto de F4 de instituto. De repente, su corazón se acelera después de no haber sentido nada durante mucho tiempo. Con ello, empieza a apoyar a Haruka y al equipo juvenil “Komaki Motors” para ayudar a Haruka a conseguir sus sueños.
